Chokes for valve amplifier power supplies

Our chokes are wound on M6 cores with factory adjusted gap. We can make various types of choke as fillows:

1. Capacitor input filter
2. Choke input filter.
3. Plate (Anode) chokes.
4. Balanced chokes

Chokes for capacitor input filters are the most frequently used but choke input filter chokes provide somewhat better regulation of the power supply though are much larger.

Plate chokes for use in parallel feed amplifiers are specially designed using a two chamber bobbin and additional insulation to maximize the self resonance frequency.

Bifilar wound balanced chokes and other special chokes can also be supplied.

Our filter chokes are normally supplied in an open frame (Style "O") package.  Fully shrouded (Style "S") is available for a small extra charge. Style "S" is included in the price for plate chokes.
